The 2022 BMW iX comes in two different trims: xDrive50 and M60. The xDrive50 can produce up to 516 horsepower with its pair of internal electric motors, while the M60 can produce up to 600 horsepower. All-wheel drive comes with the BMW iX M60, helping it go from zero to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

Like all electric BMW vehicles, the 2022 BMW iX is fully powered by an internal battery pack. The internal 106.3 kWh battery allows drivers to last 300 miles between charges, giving a new meaning to freedom on the road.

When plugged into a 200 kW power source (either from a home charging plug or an EVgo public charging station), the 2022 BMW iX can charge up to 70 percent after just 40 minutes of charging.

2022 BMW iX Special Features

As BMW’s first fully electric vehicle, the 2022 BMW iX comes filled with futuristic interior features. The first and most notable feature is the standard panoramic moonroof, which allows passengers to get an up-close look at the road ahead. This particular moonroof is fabricated with thousands of liquid crystals to control the interior brightness via an electrochromic shading effect.

Other features include a 5G WiFi hotspot, an 18-speaker Harman/Kardon stereo system, and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen to easily access vehicle information. As far as luxury is concerned, this new BMW doesn’t disappoint.
