Why Electric Cars are Better Than Hybrid Cars

Electric Cars are Greener than Hybrids

Plug-in hybrids, or PHEVs, seem like a no-brainer at first. They offer limited all-electric range in addition to the ability to drive with a gas engine for long distances. That’s better than nothing, but it’s still a long way from “green.”

Its 317 lb-ft of torque and 335 horsepower are available from a dead stop, making for a much different (and more exciting) driving dynamic.
